Pleated insect mesh for windows and doors

We offer pleated mesh solutions for doors and windows. Contact our team to discuss the requirements and suitable options for your space.

A pleated mesh folds into a slim side frame when you do not need it, and draws across the opening when you want air without insects.

How it differs from a mesh shutter

A mesh shutter is a separate sash with mesh instead of glass, usually on its own track. Pleated mesh has no sash: the mesh concertinas into the frame, so it is out of the way when folded and needs no extra track.

  • Folds away, so the view and the opening stay clear when not in use
  • No separate sash, so there is nothing extra to slide or swing

Whether pleated mesh suits a particular window or door depends on its type and the space around the frame. Tell us about your openings and we will confirm what can be fitted.

Questions

Can pleated mesh be added to windows I already have?

It depends on the frame and the space around it. Send photos of the opening with your enquiry and we will tell you.

How do I clean it?

Brush or vacuum the mesh gently and wipe the guide rails. See caring for uPVC windows.
