Privacy policy
How Winsplast India Pvt. Ltd. collects, uses and protects personal information through this website.
1. About this policy
Winsplast India Pvt. Ltd. (“Winsplast”, “we”, “us”) fabricates and installs uPVC and aluminium doors and windows. This policy explains what personal information we collect through https://winsplast.in/, why we collect it, who it is shared with, how long we keep it and the choices you have. It describes how the website actually works today.
2. Who is responsible for your information
Winsplast India Pvt. Ltd.
Registered office: Plot No. 04, Main Road, Basai Chowk, Sector 9B, Gurugram, Haryana 122006, India
Privacy contact: Chand Ram, Director
Privacy requests: privacy@winsplast.in
3. Information you give us
Quote form (/get-a-quote): your name, mobile number, PIN code or area, what you need, and whether you want a call or a site visit. Optional: type of property, new or existing building, approximate number of windows and doors, email address and a message.
Project enquiry form (/project-enquiry): your name, company, mobile number, email address, project location, project type, products and scope. Optional: your role, estimated quantity, expected timeline and project details.
Both forms ask you to tick a box agreeing that we may contact you about your enquiry. If you call, WhatsApp or email us directly, we receive the details you choose to share with us that way.
Please do not send sensitive personal information (for example health or financial details). It is not needed for an enquiry.
4. Information collected automatically
Server logs. Like most websites, the server that hosts this website records each request in access and error logs. These normally include your internet (IP) address, the date and time, the page or file requested, the referring page, your browser and device type, and the result of the request. Our hosting provider processes the access log about once a day to produce visitor statistics for our hosting account and then discards it; we do not keep archive copies of it. The statistics, which can include internet addresses, and the error logs are used only for security, troubleshooting and understanding website traffic.
The website's own error log. When a form is rejected (for example a spam attempt or an expired page), the website writes a short reason to its error log. It does not write what you typed or your internet address.
Protection against repeated submissions. When an enquiry is sent, the website keeps a one-way coded value derived from your internet address, together with the time of sending, so that it can limit repeated submissions. Your internet address itself is not stored. The value is deleted about an hour after your last enquiry.
Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies (see section 7).
5. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry, discuss your requirements and prepare a quotation.
- To arrange a site visit, measurement or follow-up when you ask for one.
- To keep a record of enquiries and quotations.
- To run the website and protect it against misuse.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it, through Google Analytics, only if you agree.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing.
6. How enquiries are handled
When you send a form, the website emails your details to our office mailbox, info@winsplast.in. A copy is automatically forwarded to our Gmail account, which is provided by Google. The website does not keep a copy of your enquiry in a database or file.
Our office team reads website enquiries and may contact you by phone, WhatsApp or email using the details you gave. Sending a form does not mean that a quotation, order or service has been agreed.
7. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the website, for example which pages are visited, how visitors arrive and the type of device and browser used, with an approximate location derived from the internet address.
Google Analytics is not loaded until you choose “Accept analytics”. Before that, and if you reject optional cookies, no Google Analytics code runs on this website and nothing is sent to Google Analytics. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page or here: . If you withdraw your consent, Google Analytics is switched off and its cookies are deleted from your browser.
We have set it up as follows:
- Google signals and advertising personalisation are switched off. There is no Google Ads or remarketing link.
- We do not send anything you type into the forms to Google Analytics: no names, phone numbers, email addresses or messages. Page addresses are sent without any query values except campaign tags.
- Advertising consent is always refused; only analytics measurement is enabled after you accept.
- Google Analytics keeps event-level data for 14 months and then deletes it. Summary reports, which do not identify individual visitors, are not affected by this setting.
Google processes this information under its own terms. See Google's Privacy Policy.
8. Cookies
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. This website uses:
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
wsp | Necessary | Protects the enquiry forms against misuse. Set only on the quote, project enquiry and thank-you pages. Holds no details you enter | Until you close your browser |
wsp_consent | Necessary | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies | 180 days |
_ga, _ga_N7NG8T8TM8 | Analytics (optional) | Set by Google Analytics, only after you accept, to distinguish visitors and visits | Up to 2 years (Google's default), or until you withdraw consent |
We do not use advertising cookies. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking the necessary cookie stops the enquiry forms from working.
9. Who we share information with
- Our hosting provider, which runs the server for this website and our office mailbox.
- Google, which provides our Gmail account (enquiry copies) and, if you accept analytics, Google Analytics.
- Our website developer, which maintains the website and may see server logs when fixing problems.
- Government or law-enforcement authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal information or give enquiry lists to anyone for their own marketing.
10. Processing outside India
Google may process information, including enquiry copies in Gmail and analytics data, on servers outside India, under its own terms and the law that applies.
11. How long we keep information
- Enquiry emails and quotation records: 3 years, then deleted.
- Repeat-submission check: about one hour after your last enquiry.
- Form security cookie: until you close your browser.
- Your cookie choice: 180 days.
- Google Analytics event-level data: 14 months, then deleted by Google Analytics (summary reports are kept longer).
- Raw server access logs: discarded by our hosting provider after its daily processing.
- Website visitor statistics and error logs: kept in our hosting account until we delete them under our retention schedule.
12. Security
The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, protects its forms against misuse, keeps its configuration outside the public part of the server and does not store enquiries itself. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle.
13. Your rights and choices
You can ask us:
- for a summary of the personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
- to correct, complete or update it;
- to delete it, unless we must keep it by law;
- to stop using it where you gave consent, including for analytics cookies, which you can also change yourself under “Cookie preferences”.
You can also nominate another person to act for you if you die or are unable to act, and raise a complaint with us about how your information is handled.
Our privacy contact is Chand Ram, Director. Email privacy@winsplast.in with the subject “Privacy request: Winsplast website”, and tell us which enquiry it concerns. Please do not send passwords or sensitive details. We may need to confirm your identity before acting.
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 are coming into force in stages; most obligations, including those on notices and individuals' rights, apply from 13 May 2027. We will handle requests in line with these laws as they apply. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to complain to the Data Protection Board of India once the relevant provisions are in force.
14. Children
This website is meant for people looking for doors and windows for homes, businesses and building projects. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect children's personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us so that we can delete it.
15. Other websites
Links to WhatsApp, Google Maps and other websites take you to services with their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for how they handle information.
16. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the website, the services we use or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
