uPVC doors

Sliding doors for balconies and terraces, hinged casement and French doors, and slide-and-fold doors, made to measure in Gurugram and installed by Winsplast.

Sliding doors

Large glazed panels slide sideways, so the door never swings into the room or onto the balcony. Sliding doors suit balconies, terraces and garden openings where you want a wide view and easy access.

  • Two or more panels, depending on the width of the opening
  • Mesh can be added on a separate track or as pleated mesh
  • Where people walk through often, ask about the threshold height

Casement and French doors

Hinged doors open fully on side hinges. A single casement door suits a balcony or utility access; French doors are a pair of hinged leaves that open the full width of a wider opening.

  • Single or double (French) doors
  • Can be combined with fixed glass panels beside or above the door
  • The swing needs clear space on the side it opens towards

Slide-and-fold doors

Several leaves fold against each other and slide to one or both sides, so most of a wide opening can be cleared. They suit living rooms opening onto a terrace or garden.

Questions

Sliding door or French doors for a balcony?

A sliding door saves space because nothing swings. French doors open the full width but need space for the leaves to swing. We advise when we see the opening.
